Located just seven minutes from the heart of Hobart and two from the beautiful Kingston Beach in Tasmania's South - Spa Luxe Apartment sits in a quiet cul-de-sac beneath the iconic Mount Wellington / Kunanyi.
Custom-built, thoughtfully designed using the beauty of Tasmanian timbers, every detail has been carefully considered to create a private sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation.
The centerpiece of the experience is a luxurious 20-jet alfresco spa, exclusively for your use during your stay, it provides an idyllic setting to unwind — even on the coldest Tasmanian evenings — while enjoying a glass of wine under the stars.
The apartment includes a fully self-contained kitchen equipped with an oven, stovetop, and microwave. Guests are welcome to make use of the herb garden and, when in season, fresh produce from the vegetable beds. The garden is currently being replenished due to recent development works.
Additional features include a BBQ area with plans for an outdoor kitchen, and a Smart Sony Bravia television with a 180-degree adjustable wall mount, allowing for comfortable viewing from the bed or kitchen area.
Spa Luxe provides a range of amenities to enhance your retreat, we now able to offer extras like wood for the firepit, picnic setup and Tasmanian products, simply book with us, add your extras to your cart and add your booking number in the checkout.
There are no shared areas, Spa Luxe Apartment is totally yours to enjoy. We are a family of 5, together with a small cat named Meggie who live onsite in the main house.

“This is the best airBnB we have ever stayed in and it’s not even close. Loved absolutely everything about it. Highlights were the sunlight streaming in through the high windows, the jacuzzi, the beautiful scenery with all the flowers and plants and how it feels like home. It also has really comfortable bed and a tv that swivels so you can watch it from anywhere in the room.

Booking Your Retreat
To book with us, simply explore our availability either on our website or Airbnb select your desired dates, and complete the booking form. Once confirmed, you'll receive all the details for your retreat, including check-in instructions and contact information.

Our retreats come fully equipped with modern amenities such as high-speed Wi-Fi, luxurious linens, private spa access, and premium toiletries. You can enjoy a comfortable and luxurious retreat without compromising on tranquility.
Is early check-in or late check-out available?
We always do our best to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs whenever possible. This depends on bookings before or after your stay,

How do I access the apartment?
Spa Luxe is self check-in for your convenience. The day of your arrival, you’ll receive detailed instructions via message, or via the airbnb app if that's the way you booked - including your personal access code for the keypad and how to navigate to the apartment. Guest parking is located directly in front of the gate, on the top right side of the property. Simply walk along the path to reach the apartment on the right. This parking space is best suited for small to medium-sized vehicles. For larger vehicles, the street offers a quiet and safe alternative.
Check-in time is anytime after 3pm, unless previously arranged in advance with us.
Meet your hosts
We're the McCormick family — Nigel, Victoria, our three children , Esther, Jasmine and Quinn, and our curious cat, Meggie. We live in the main house just to the left of the apartment, so there’s no need to worry about sharing the space with other guests.
You might catch a glimpse of us in the garden — we're often out there, hands in the soil, a little muddy, and completely content bringing blooms to life and keeping the lawn looking its best. (We like to think of ourselves as part-time garden gnomes!)
For the most privacy during your stay, our family use a different part of the property for access and encourage all our visitors to use our bottom entrance.
On rare occasions, we may have scheduled maintenance or tradespeople onsite, but we’ll always notify you in advance.
